  • I dyed my hair! it is the same old same old....dark brown...and I need to have it trimmed and then I need to straighten it...it looks really frizzy right now - lol. like I burnt it.

    I wish I could say I will post some pictures but we don't have a camera anymore....yeah, it got dropped one to many times..it didn't last much longer after that. *sniff*

    So, David and Amanda are getting married! OMG! I bet you didn't know that - LOL! And I think I am going to be one of the brides maids....everything is still so much like up in the air I'm not sure exactly...the maid of honer has been replaced three times!!! and then it sounds like (not quite sure) that one of the brides maids isn't going to be attending...so that's kinda a bummer.

    All that aside I am SOoooOOo happy that my brother David is finally getting married. Annnnd that I am going to have a new sister...it's kinda weird actually...in a good way. But I mean.. who would have thought that when I met Amanda five years ago that I was looking at my future sister in law sister. Or Davids future wife..... it's funny how things work out that way. Just in life I mean. And it's all good.
    I am working on a speech that I am going to present I guess you'd say at the wedding....I haven't done something like this in...never. And Uuuuuhm it's coming along I guess.
     
    I found out just recently that a friend of mine her aunt is getting married on the same day as David and Amanda's wedding! And she is going to be a brides maid in her aunts wedding too! It's crazy, it seems everyone is getting married.....maybe Mike will take a hint and start thinking about getting married now...for those of you who don't know Mike is my brother and he has a girlfriend to but they are seriously dragging there feet. They love the drama I do swear....

    Speaking of Michael we are waiting impatiently to hear whether or not Mike got his leave approved....cross your fingers and pray pray pray that the Navy says yes. He is supposed to be Davids best man and well if he can't make it David does have a backup best man but it would be a bummer beyond word if Mike couldn't make it. 

    All that aside I'm excited with it all.

    Writers block

    Yeah it's been a while since I posted. To tell you the truth not much has been going on recently around here that you all don't already know. Hmmm, it's kinda hard to decide what to blog about exactly since I have been seeing my Xanga friends in person and emailing them more often then usual. Don't get me wrong - it's great!...actually getting to see you all in person I mean. But that still doesn't help the problem or challenge if you will, that I am faced with as I write... posting about farm animals (which is what I have been writing about so far) is okay but not exactly interesting to read much less leave a comment... but then again I'm not exactly looking for comments... I'm just trying to figure out what to write about.. so this has nothing to do with you all it's just me. I've faced a writers block. And it's positively horrible.

    IMO - A Xanga or blog isn't supposed to be a place where you give a check list as to whats been going on in your life...and if it is well then it shouldn't be that way ALL the time.. I guess that's what I feel like has happened - lol. I feel like I haven't really been blogging, I feel like I have just been just.. like I've become a boring blogger - LOL! I haven't felt in the mood to blog that much lately..because I don't know what to blog about.

    I'm contemplating whether I should delete this in the future or not... I'm giving it 24 - 48hrs. And to think I came to this conclusion after I went thru all the trouble of getting a new Xanga up and going - LOL! Ahhhh! I'm crazy!

  • Shes the cute one!

     
    We're getting a cow! her name is Elsie she is a full blood Jersey, two years old, in milk, and is bred to calve this fall '09. Dad and I put our money together and we came to an agreement that when she calves this fall that I will get the calf. She will be arriving sometime in the next two weeks or so. We are all so excited! So, see if you can figure out which one she is in the picture, shes the cute one!

    And then bellow are some pictures Cora snapped of Cassie and Obi about a week ago. Hay Victoria doesn't the snapshot of Obis head remind you of like a mustang?..you know with the wind and everything it makes him look kinda wild eh? blank otu the corner posts in the background and it might be believable - lol.

  • So Mom and I broke our cleanse sooner then we had planned. Today was the three week mark of our MC and we decided to break it. for several reasons. But anyways, we had some wonderful miso soup that was to die for! I am so serious, it was good. 

    So can anyone tell me what exactly is the purpose of  Pulse? is it just to make note type thing's or what?
